The PRX676 is a DuraFlex™ CAT6A S/FTP cable (PCT60SF) assembled on a lightweight extremely strong and impact resistant reel (CDM310). Both ends are fitted with highly durable and weather resistant Neutrik NE8MX-TOP etherCON connectors. A connection tail of 5 meters is wounded to the front side of the cable winder. The PCT60SF conductor consists of 4 individually shielded pairs of stranded 24 AWG conductors wrapped in a tinned copper braiding.
Thanks to the double shielding, crosstalk and system noise are minimized, furthermore, the PRX676 is nearly immune to noise and interference caused by external devices. Unlike any other CAT6A cable available on the market, the PCT60SF features a Duraflex™ outer jacket constructed using a double-extrusion technique with a polyurethane outer and PVC inner jacket. The polyurethane outer jacket offers excellent resistance against mechanical wear due to pulling, bending, cracking and UV exposure, while the PVC inner jacket keeps it easy to handle. Combined with the True Outdoor Protection connectors, this cable is built to withstand the elements. The PRX676 supports 10Base-T, 100Base-TX, 1000Base-T and 10GBase-T gigabit.

The 100Ω cables are ideal for the transmission of digital signals. This impedance is mostly used in our wide range of UTP cables.
The connectors that are fitted with gold plated contacts have the advantage of preventing oxidation and maintain performance after years of use. Another great property of gold is that it is an excellent electrical conductor. For comparison, if pure copper has a relative conductivity of 100 then gold is only 31% lower than copper, while nickel is 76% lower than copper.
The outer jacket of all PROCAB cables complying to IEC60332 will extinguish itself when that cable is briefly exposed to a small flame.
For ease of installation these bulk cables are provided with an indication on every meter of the cable. This enables installers to have a clear and efficient indication of how many meters they still have available on their reel.
The combination of a hard and solid inner jacket and a soft outer jacket provides great flexibility with a solid touch, even after numerous times of winding and unwinding.
Shrink sleeves are meant to protect company logo’s or cable tags, they are factory installed for the purpose of placing a cable tag without the need to detach the connector. The heat shrink tubing can be easily shrunk by means of a heat gun. The sleeves are not lined with glue and have a length of 60mm. To achieve the most optimal care for your cable connection the sleeve is best to be placed 30 cm from the connector.
The flexible and solid PVC outer jacket makes it the perfect cable for many kinds of applications. The smooth outer jacket provides great and easy pulling capabilities to guide the cable through a truss or around a corner while still offering perfect rolling and unrolling performance for highly demanding mobile applications.
CAT6A can handle a 10 gigabit network (10000Mbps at 500Mhz). This cable can bridge distances up to 100 meters.
