The PRD620 is a DuraFlex™ CAT6A S/FTP cable (PCT60SF) fitted with gold plated RJ45 connectors in highly durable and weather resistant Neutrik NE8MX-TOP etherCON housings. The PCT60SF conductor consists of 4 individually shielded pairs of stranded 24 AWG conductors wrapped in a tinned copper braiding.
Thanks to the double shielding, crosstalk and system noise are minimized, furthermore, the PRD620 is nearly immune to noise and interference caused by external devices. Unlike any other CAT6A cable available on the market, the PCT60SF features a Duraflex™ outer jacket constructed using a double-extrusion technique with a polyurethane outer and PVC inner jacket.
The polyurethane outer jacket offers excellent resistance against mechanical wear due to pulling, bending, cracking and UV exposure, while the PVC inner jacket keeps it easy to handle. Combined with the True Outdoor Protection connectors, this cable is built to withstand the elements. The PRD620 supports 10Base-T, 100Base-TX, 1000Base-T and 10GBase-T gigabit.

The 100Ω cables are ideal for the transmission of digital signals. This impedance is mostly used in our wide range of UTP cables.
The connectors that are fitted with gold plated contacts have the advantage of preventing oxidation and maintain performance after years of use. Another great property of gold is that it is an excellent electrical conductor. For comparison, if pure copper has a relative conductivity of 100 then gold is only 31% lower than copper, while nickel is 76% lower than copper.
The combination of a hard and solid inner jacket and a soft outer jacket provides great flexibility with a solid touch, even after numerous times of winding and unwinding.
When flexibility, abrasion and oil resistance have to be guaranteed, PUR cables are an excellent choice. PUR is known for being Halogen free, not containing chlorine, iodine, fluorine, bromine or astatine. This jacket type does however have a limited temperature range compared to the other jacket types, -40…80⁰C.
Shrink sleeves are meant to protect company logo’s or cable tags, they are factory installed for the purpose of placing a cable tag without the need to detach the connector. The heat shrink tubing can be easily shrunk by means of a heat gun. The sleeves are not lined with glue and have a length of 60mm. To achieve the most optimal care for your cable connection the sleeve is best to be placed 30 cm from the connector.
The Duraflex™ technology is based on the highest grade of materials for its outer jacket to withstand extreme circumstances and mechanic impact. This gives the cable the advantage to keep his flexibility in low temperatures and an overall better abrasion resistance. The UV protection makes sure that the cable maintains its mechanical properties and doesn’t turn brittle after long-term exposures.
CAT6A can handle a 10 gigabit network (10000Mbps at 500Mhz). This cable can bridge distances up to 100 meters.

Neutrik NE8MX-TOP-D is a Cable Carrier etherCON TOP Series Nickel etherCON Shell ONLY that Requires an RJ45 Connector & Cable. This is a bulk pack of 100 pieces. Cable connector carrier consists of a velour chromiuim shell, chuck and boot. The boot is suitable for cable diameters from 5 - 8 mm. For non pre-assembled cables only. Cable connector carrier does not include a RJ45 plug.
The etherCON cable connector carrier upgrades a conventional RJ45 connector to an extremely robust, lockable and outdoor protected solution with IP65 rating and UL 50E certification.
Please Note: Does not intermate with the CAT6 chassis connectors NE8FDY-C6 and NE8FDY-C6-B. Cable connectors do not include RJ45 plug. RJ45 cable assembly must be provided by end user!
