The CCX159 is a coaxial installation cable featuring a Flamoflex™ outer jacket compliant to the IEC 60332-1 standard regarding fire and flammability resistance in public installations. The Flamoflex™ material is specifically designed with installers convenience in mind, offering a smooth and durable outer jacket for easy installation and pulling. This cable is designed according the RG59/U standard, featuring a solid high purity copper conductor which is surrounded by polyethylene isolator. The double shielding consisting of an overall aluminum foil surrounded by a braiding offers a high immunity against noise and interference caused by external devices. The CCX159 cable can be used for a wide variaty of installation applications such as CATV and CCTV distribution, analogue video interconnections as well has HDTV digital SDI, HD-SDI and 3G-SDI video transmissions. Compatible with Neutrik BNC connector NBNC75BLP7 (CCX159) . Recommended HD distance : 80 m

Coax cables with a 75Ω impedance are highly suitable for transmitting video signals. The cables have an advantage in flexibility and low loss characteristics.
The outer jacket of all PROCAB cables complying to IEC60332 will extinguish itself when that cable is briefly exposed to a small flame.
LSHF stands for Low Smoke, Halogen Free. This term refers to Halogen free flame retardant thermoplastic material used as a sheathing compound in cables. In the event of a fire or when exposed to high levels of heat, the chemicals in the jacket removes heat from the flame, whilst the reaction produces water as a by-product to help quench the flame. As a result, the cable will emit very low levels of smoke, and non-toxic levels of poisonous halogen gasses.
For ease of installation these bulk cables are provided with an indication on every meter of the cable. This enables installers to have a clear and efficient indication of how many meters they still have available on their reel.
The HD-SDI signal cables offer a transmission speed up to 1.5 Gb/s and can be used for resolutions up to 720p and 1080i.
The SD-SDI signal cables offer a transmission speed up to 360Mb/s and can be used for resolutions up to 480i and 576i.
Aluminum foil shielding is ideal for reflecting electromagnetic interference (EMI) and is often used in combination with a braided wire to absorb EMI.
Tinned copper braid shielding provides superior physical protection, while maintaining good flexibility and flex life. These shields are the ideal choice for minimizing interference and have lower dc resistance than foil. The tin plating also adds to the copper in the cable as it not only helps to boost the copper’s properties, it also helps the wire to last much longer and counter acts against oxidation.
The signal cables consist of a solid inner conductor. Typically, you will find solid core wires in situations where the wire is not designed to be continuously flexed and where the wire may be exposed to corrosive elements or adverse weather condition. A solid copper core can achieve an even more compact diameter than a stranded wire with the same current carrying capability.
Cables that are featured with a Flamoflex™ outer jacket are compliant to the IEC 60332-1 standard regarding fire and flammability resistance in public installations. The Flamoflex™ material is specifically designed with installers convenience in mind, offering a smooth and durable outer jacket for easy installation and pulling capabilities to guide the cable around a corner.
