3 new USB-C cables for data, video and power

The slimline series are expanded with three new USB-C cables: the CSD640, CSD645 and CSD650A. Each solution is developed for a specific installation scenario, offering a clear choice between passive micro coax, active micro coax and active optical technology.

The CSD640 is designed for short distance and predictable systems, where maximum performance is required within a compact setup. This passive micro coax cable supports USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 with data speeds up to 20 Gbps, video up to 4K at 60 Hz and power delivery up to 100 W (20 V, 5 A). Its slim 5.0 mm cable diameter and high quality conductors ensure strong signal integrity and easy cable routing in dense installations.

For environments where signal stability becomes more critical, the CSD645 introduces an active micro coax design with an integrated retimer chipset. This improves signal reliability during high speed transmission and over longer cable lengths. The cable supports USB 3.2 Gen 2x1 with speeds up to 10 Gbps, 4K@60Hz video and up to 100 W power delivery, making it a reliable choice for more complex AV setups.

The CSD650A is developed for long distance installations where traditional copper solutions reach their limits. Using active optical technology, it ensures stable signal transmission and is fully immune to electromagnetic interference. It supports USB 3.2 Gen 1 with speeds up to 5 Gbps, video up to 4K at 60 Hz and power delivery up to 60 W, depending on cable length. Available in 7.5 and 10 meter, with 15 and 20 meter versions coming soon, it offers a scalable solution for extended cable runs.

All three cables are part of the slimline range, featuring a significantly reduced cable diameter for improved airflow, easier installation and clean cable management. The low smoke and halogen free TPE jacket ensures suitability for professional and public environments.
