The HDM800 connection tool & HDM860 or HDM865 guiding jigs are required to use these connectors. The cable simply needs to be stripped, inserted into the guiding pieces, compressed and attached to the connector shell in order to complete the installation. The connector is gold-plated and housed in a sturdy metal shell. The shell is closed using two screws.
